Kolkata doctor case: Supreme directive to form national task force for safety of doctors

New Delhi: ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ವೈದ್ಯೆಯ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಲೆ (Kolkata Doctor Rape And Murder Case) ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಲವು ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಕೆಲಸದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್​ (Supreme Court) ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ನಿರತ ವೈದ್ಯೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಕುರಿತು, ಮುಖ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಡಿವೈ ಚಂದ್ರಚೂಡ್ (D Y Chandrachud) ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ತ್ರಿಸದಸ್ಯ ಪೀಠವು ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಕೀಲ ಕಪಿಲ್ ಸಿಬಲ್ (Kapil Sibal) ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿತು.

ಕೆಲಸದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆಯು ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಾದ್ಯಂತ ನೈತಿಕ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಗುರುತು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಭದ್ರತೆಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಕಳವಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು (College) ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಎದ್ದವು.

ವೈದ್ಯರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಮುಷ್ಕರ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವಂತೆ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಆರೋಪಿ ಸಂಜಯ್ ರಾಯ್ (Sanjay Ray) ಅವರ ಪಾಲಿಗ್ರಫಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಸಿಬಿಐ (CBI) ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸಂಜಯ್ ರಾಯ್ ಅವರ ನಿರಂತರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲ ಸಿವಿ ಆನಂದ್ ಬೋಸ್ (CV Anand Bose) ಅವರು ನವದೆಹಲಿ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಮುರ್ಮು ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ (Amit Shah) ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕುರಿತು ತಮ್ಮ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Kolkata Rape-Murder Case Hearing Live Updates

New Delhi: In relation to the case of rape and murder of a female doctor in Kolkata (Kolkata Doctor Rape And Murder Case), the Supreme Court is hearing today and has given some instructions. The Supreme Court has asked to set up a national task force for the safety of doctors at the workplace.

A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud questioned West Bengal government's lawyer Kapil Sibal at the beginning of the hearing in the case of rape of a trainee doctor in a hospital in Kolkata.

This task force aims to enforce ethical standards across the nation to increase safety in workplaces. Concerns have been expressed that the disclosure of the identity of the victim may pose a problem to the security of doctors in government hospitals. Questions were also raised about the role of medical college and hospital principals

During the hearing, the Supreme Court made it clear that a national task force would be formed for the safety of doctors. The doctors have also been requested to end the strike and return to work. Meanwhile, the CBI has obtained permission for the polygraphy test of the accused Sanjay Ray, and this test will be conducted today. Sanjay Roy is being interrogated continuously.
