New Delhi: ಇಂದು (ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 29) ಗುರುವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ 8 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್ (September) 2, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಪಾಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಸೇವಾ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಬಂದ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಟೆಕ್ನಿಕಲ್ ಮೈಂಟೆನೆನ್ಸ್ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅಲಭ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 30ಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳೂ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಅಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು (Appointments) ಬೇರೆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದೂಡುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ.
ಪಾಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಸೇವಾ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ (Passport Seva portal technical maintenance), ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಇರುವ ಪಾಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳೂ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ (August) 30ರಂದು ಬಂದ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ಶುಕ್ರವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ದಿನ ಅಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಪಾಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ (Passport) ಸೇವಾ ವಿಭಾಗ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು.

2024ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 29, ಗುರುವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ 8 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್ 2 ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಟೆಕ್ನಿಕಲ್ ಮೈಂಟೆನೆನ್ಸ್ನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪಾಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಸೇವಾ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಬಂದ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂಇಎ, ಆರ್ಪಿಒ, ಬಿಒಐ, ಡಿಒಪಿ (MIA, RPO, BOI, DOP), ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಸ್ಟಂ ಲಭ್ಯ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 30ಕ್ಕೆ ಬುಕ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಅಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಗದಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಅಪ್ಡೇಟ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಅಡ್ವೈಸರಿ (Advisory) ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

The Passport Service Department under the Ministry of External Affairs recently informed about this.
The Passport Seva Portal will be closed for technical maintenance from Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 8:00 PM to Monday, September 2, 2024 at 6:00 AM. During this period the system will not be available to citizens and all MEA, RPO, BOI, DOP, Police authorities. Appointments booked for August 30 will be rescheduled for another day and the information will be updated for the applicant,' the advisory has been released.
